is it possible to record additional midi takes after loop recording stops? For example, I have Instrument Loop Record set to Record Takes and Record Mode set to Replace. With a two bar loop,I hit record and make 3 passes, then hit stop and now I have take1, take2 ,take3. Now I'd like to try more takes on the same track, but when I go into record, it erases my previous takes 1-3. So as a work around to add addition "ideas" or Takes I use Takes to Layers, but I'm trying to avoid making a bunch of Layers.
The way I'd like to use Takes is for example I might have 3 parts on a synth track, part 1 is verse, part 2 is b sec, part 3 is chorus, and have various takes on each part. It's possible now but the snag is if i'm recording I can't hit stop and add more takes later.
