I have the 710 twin finity mic pre from universal audio and a neuman tl103 mic. I want to record my vocal with that setup and I have studio live III 32S board and my studio one pro software on my DAW. I dont want to color the vocal with anything but the 710 twin finity mic pre. I would normally set my mic pre up and use a xlr out into the studio 32S board but do I need to come out of mic pre with xlr male to a trs 1/4 and plug into the mic/line on the 32S board ? If so which is what I think bypasses the mic pres on the studio live 32S then would I set my mic pre as mic or line level ? even though I am recording a vocal track

Going 1/4" into the 32S from the 710 twin finity would bypass the 32S mic preamp. Check with UA to see what suggestions they would have for mic pre settings in this use case.
