I just got the apollo twin x and want to expand it with my quantum 2626 i have had for a couple of years. The universal control for the quantum is not very good, and it seems like everything is greyed out and theres no option to have any of the inputs tied to the adat out puts. For reference i have both going in my computer with a thunderbolt cables, and i have an optical out from my 2626 to the in on my twin. ive been testing my re20 on input one of the 2626 nad the twins twins control software is not picking it up. I set the ua console to match 48khz with the 2626, and i set the clock source to ADAT. It has 8 adat channels on the console. The presonus manuals havent helped me, and they seem to have indepth videos for everything except the 2626.

HI,

I had to feed SYNC from another device (POD X3 Live) to the input of my Studio 1824c before any audio would be recognized in Console. I am not encouraged to have to feed this with a 15-year-old device, but it's working.

There's no DSP routing with Quantum, but you can easily do this. You'll need to open another DAW, assign the Q2626 as the interface in it, set the routing in the DAW (analog in on the channel to ADAT out on the channel) and set the buffer to lowest. Monitor enable each track. That's it.

Now, go back to your main DAW with the Twin and you're good to go. Save the other DAW's session so you can do it really easily next time.
