Hi everyone. I have this problem in Studio One 6. Basically, I get Disc spikes with simple projects (only 3 or 4 tracks and 0 inserts) even with 0% of usage, sometimes 1% or 2%. Do you know why is this happening and if there is some way to solve it? Honestly, it doesn't make sense to me.

My PC:

- i7-12700K

- 64GB RAM 4000mhz
- 2TB NVME WD SN850 Gen4 Black (up to 7000mb/sec)

- Windows 11 22H2 fully updated

Thank you in advance.

Not an answer... but Ive been getting the exact same.

Im running a MAC mini (Monterey) > M1 > 16gb ... all software up to date.

Tested by disk speed and performance is not going to be an issue.

Watching this thread in the hopes of some clarity.

Same issue here. I had songs up and running working fine with low track counts and low "disc" numbers. And then on many different tracks in multiple songs, audio tracks drop out.  I can see the waveform, but the red warning light toggles on (with not even a slight meter move or other layers or FX coming in) and the audio no longer plays from that point. It will play prior to that point but not after.

I have tried running it off the internal SSD, and external SSD, changing block sizes and dropout protections. No change.

It is very annoying as it has destroyed several works in progress.

When you have a paying customer in the studio with you and this happens, it's embarrassing and non-billable.
