How do you take away a measure? I find many ways to deleate/ erase/ take away the content of the measure but no way to take away the measure itself.

Use the region tool with Snap enabled (to the measure) to select the measure.

Enable Ripple editing (the button between Snap and Auto-Scroll in the toolbar)

Delete

(be sure to turn OFF ripple!)
