Question

Would be great if there was an option for those with touch sensitive faders on our control surfaces that touching fader “selects” corresponding track/channel. Much the same as clicking on the track or channel.

Absolutely! I use a Faderport 16 together with an SSL UC-1 and it would be great if the UC-1 always showed the corresponding values. I will add this feature request to the Faderport category as well as it could be implemented in the Faderport via firmware update (link the track SELECT button to fader touch and/or movement).
