While it is possible to specify a global shared path for S1 content (songs, macros, images etc.), this only allows the entire folder structure to be re-located.
I would like these to be separate options so that I can leave the S1 configuration, macros, and templates in my documents folder where they are mirrored to OneDrive (in my case as a lightweight user I do have internet enabled on my DAW) but have my recordings - projects/songs on my recording SSD where they do not get backed up up by OneDrive.
OneDrive interferes with the recording causing delays and occasional glitches in S1. Equally, S1 prevents OneDrive from syncing because of files being in use during sessions.
At the moment, for those that might be interested, a workaround is to:
1) Move the S1 content folder to wherever you want.
2) Create windows junctions (soft links) from the new location to your OneDrive folder for any folders within S1 that you do want sync'd to OneDrive.
The downside with this approach is that there is no indication that the linked folders are being updated or backed-up.
