This one is exceptionally annoying and relies on templates, which is a bad solution. The I/O of an interface should be entirely detached from the song, like in Pro Tools.
Having to setup I/O every time, or rely on templates is a really clunky solution that only causes state fragmentation. It's not even useful to have the I/O tied to the song, not in any universe would I need that feature.
