So I’ve been using Studio One for a while now just as an amateur song writing hobbyist.
I can get the mix to sound great in the DAW. Sounds nice and full and everything feels awesome. Then I export it using mixdown and it sounds completely dead. No depth, flat, sounds like there’s no dynamics at all.
I’m exporting in WAV format at 44.1k with a 24 bit rate, but not in real time. Everything is set to 44.1k so I don’t know if it’s that’s the problem.
My mix sounds full in playback then thin when exported. What’s going on? Any tips to try? It’s ruining my songs…
