FR to update Pipeline XT Mono and Stereo plugins to allow for sending and returning to internal channels as well. This would allow many different creative possibilities such as creating a send inbetween several channel inserts e.g. between tape-emulation and modelled preamp inserts but before a bitcrusher or a rhythmic delay inserted on only that particular channel. This would permit channels to "tap" each other, and combined with the Splitter this could open up a wide range of possibilities.

"Sends" as we know them in S1 would effectively not be limited to only occurring in the send section of a given channel, and likewise for "returns" not being limited to the input, or pre- or post- fader outputs of a given channel.

Logically, some advanced routings would require combined use with the Splitter in order to function as intended e.g. if returning audio on a channel which doesn't naturally bus/mix audio (like FX Return or Bus channels do) and which already has an audio part active on it (or it is monitoring live audio in conjunction with) then instantiate a Pipeline on one side of a splitter to then submix the additional audio returning from Pipeline within the Splitter as desired (on a frequency band, level, or output channel assignment basis). Unless PreSonus or the community can think of a better and smoother workaround(?)
