Make it possible to collapse the midi editor to show only the notes actually used larger (collapse to only show notes actually used / expand to show all keys of the keyboard).

As seen in Apple Logic, Ableton Fold mode, Sonar (and maybe other DAWs)

Absolutely!

In Pro Tools, the piano roll within each track has it's top range limited to that of the top note, and the bottom range limited to that of the bottom note. Yet still shows unused notes in the middle, to properly convey intervals.

I find Pro Tools' view super useful, because you can tell at a glance what the melody is, which helps me remember which track I'm looking at faster than setting the track color or renaming the track from which instrument plugin is used to the sound of the patch in the instrument.

Whereas currently in Studio One 3.3, each midi clip shows the notes used presumably out of all 88 notes, so it's impossible to tell at a glance which part is which and what the melody is like. The data is there, it's just not visible in a user-friendly way.

I would add that Cubase does it too and offers several folding options

EVERY other DAW has this. Very surprising that S1 isn´t able to do this, because it´s such a basic and helpful function-
