I can't control global gain when using imported midi files. I've read multiple questions and responses to this, watched videos... and have found zero effective help.
If I start a new file (nothing imported), global gain control is not a problem. If there are hidden midi envelopes on import, where are they?
I did tech support for years for Alesis and Event Electronics, used Cubase, Logic, Digital Performer, etc, studied with some heavy hitters, and have a PhD in composition with an emphasis in electronic music... so.... this shouldn't be that difficult.
Any help would be fantastic. Otherwise, I'll scrap Studio One and go with something a bit more intuitive on the stuff that a 2 year old should be able to figure out in minutes.... not days.
