i Have a Studio Live AR16C , and i notice that even do the effect on the channel is zero , i can here still effect on that channel. also when you do a exhange on the effects to another effects , some time give a second of silence in the output. is this normal ?

Try muting the effects (on the FX fader).  Do you still hear the effect?

When you hear the effect, is it through the main-outs of the console?  Or is it in the headphones?  When you hear the effect, are you listening just to the channel through the PFL?
