I'd find it really useful if I could create instances of tracks that refer back to their original. This would allow users to create virtually unlimited folders containing instances of various tracks for different purposes, like for mixing, midi editing, or organization of tracks based on different projects.
I was just thinking about this and haven't put much thought into other ways this may already be possible, or potential roadblocks.
