Just to let you know I have a 2012 macbook pro running OSX El capitan and the latest versions of RM firmware and UC surface and I bought an Acer T232HL Abmjjz 23 inch touch screen and it is working using the thunderbolt 1 port with a HDMI adapter and 1 USB cable for the touch input. No drivers were required and it pretty much worked out of the box. Good and beautiful. I have it as a separate, not mirrored, display. The only thing to be aware of, so far, is that the cursor needs to be in the window you want to control. For example, if I have UC Surface on the touchscreen it will not work until I slide the cursor over to be in any part of the UC surface window. The macbook screen is then available for Capture or to run plugins via firewire. It is not battle tested yet but so far it is good and responsive.

Thanks for the post. Can you adjust multiple faders simultaneously?

After using this touchscreen for a while I can say that only one fader can be adjusted at a time. Also you have to use one touch and ONLY ONE TOUCH with faders as a second simultaneous touch ANYWHERE will result, usually, in full on of off of that fader. Ouch!  It must be a touch drag behavior. This does not seem to be true for other adjustment points like eq . Now that I have some down time I will experiment to see if I can disable this "feature" and report back. For now I use this screen with one hand behind my back and my touch finger is locked in a pointer finger position.

The screen however is beautiful and can show about 20 channels at once along with both EQ and dynamics windows and the A/B choice which I don't see on the laptop screen.
