Question

Room Control version 1.1.3 for iOS on an iPad compared to Room Control version 1.0.0.28178 for MacOS running OS X 10.9.5.

The iPad detects the configured and properly communicating 312AI speakers allright where the Macbook does not detect any speakers. What is going on?

Same network. With the Macbook I can communicate with the RM that is connected on the same switch.

Because of the way Room Control works you can't connect with more than one device at a time.  Either your iPad OR your McBook.

You didn't mention if you were trying to connect both at the same time, but that's the only reason I can think it might fail...  Works ok on my system on McBook.
