I am not able to use Ampire in real time without latency problems. It is useless to me at this point. I am able to play and record clean and then add it to my clean playing. Is there any way to use Ampire in real time without this terrible latency problem. My friend is using a 6 year old version of amplitube with a old computer with ZERO latency problems. How can this be? Do I need to buy a separate guitar plug in from a third party?

Check your buffer setting. To reduce latency to play in real time you should set it to 64. You will probably have to turn off any plugins on any bus and fx channels if you are using a template. As a rule you want to record with the lowest buffer you can and the highest buffer for mixing, depending on your computers capabilities.
