I already have studio one prime. I want to buy artist version. Do i have to delete or uninstall the files of prime version before I install artist?

No. You do not need to uninstall or delete anything.

Once you have purchased Artist, just open Prime, go to the Studio One drop down menu, and select "Studio One activation".

Follow the instructions there and you'll be able to "activate" Artist from within Prime.
