Do I have to install Studio One v2 Pro on my newly built 64 bit PC before installing the Studio One v4 Pro Upgrade?

Do I have to install Studio One v2 Pro on my newly built 64 bit PC before I can install the Studio One v4.5 Pro Upgrade, or can the upgrade be purchased, download and installed by it's self without losing anything features I would have had from v2?
