Why don't my track names appear in my FP8 scribble strips when I connect to an already open project?

When using your FaderPort 8 in MCU mode (for DAWs like Logic, Ableton Live, Reason, Reaper, and so on) track names will appear in your scribble strips. 

However, if you connect and sync your FaderPort 8 after opening a song or project in your DAW the strips may not update automatically. 

All you need to do is tap the Prev or Next buttons, or you can switch modes (from Track -> Pan, or Track -> Sends, etc).

This should "wake up" the strips and populate your track names.
