can I use any wifi adapter with the studio live 24.2

My wifi adapter broke and I need a new one asap. I've already ordered one and they sent me some off brand wifi adapter. Can I just go to a store and buy one that would work?

No, there is a specific chipset that works that not every adapter uses.
