Thank you AlexTinsley, that was very helpful,

I was investigating about my current laptop system and the Expresscard and it is not there. So my options are to buy anoher laptop around $1200 with this slot available or to buy the SL-Dante-Mix Dante Card For Studiolive like below:

https://www.amazon.com/Presonus-SL-Dante-Mix-Studiolive-Shield-Speaker/dp/B01LWVOOSM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485232978&sr=8-1&keywords=dante+for+presonus

but I am not sure if that card is compatible with my current system, is that device use a common network port?

I have a computer toshiba with windows 8.1, 64bits 12 GB RAM,  intel Core i7,

Please let me know, many thanks in advance

Yes, the Dante option card is the best option, if FireWire is not available. But you need some knowledge about Dante and how to get everytghing going. I think this article will might answer many of your questions already: http://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/210048843-Dante-Networking-Overview.

There are two more helpful resources:

Recording with Studio One and any other DAW will work through Dante, but Capture is not designed for netowkr use, just for FireWire. Recording is limited to 48 kHz, if that is of any importance. Just for information.
