That's basically the totality of my question: is the SL-DANTE-MIX card supposed to come with a Dante Virtual Soundcard license? I'm wondering because I have read that many Dante devices come with a license card included, however mine did not and when I got my card in a box at the shop, the box was opened. So I'm wondering if it was possibly taken by someone en route.

No. Dante Virtual Soundcard by Audinate is not included with the SL-DANTE-MIX card sold by PreSonus.
