Question

I have a Yamaha M7CL-48 console with 3 MY16-AUD Dante cards installed in it.  I also have two RML32AIs and a CS18AI.  My PreSonus system is running within AVB network.  Since I have multiple RML32AIs, I would like to try SL-Dante-MIX optional card to install in one of my RML32AI to utilize it as a 32in/16out stage box if it is possible. Also, I would like to know if I can control Head Amp of RML32AI from Yamaha M7CL.

Hi there, I see nobody has answered you question about Dante and I'm also looking to know this as I'm thinking on something similar to implement.

The problem with dante is that there is no provision in the protocol to control headamps, phantom power and such. You can hook a router into the network and control the headamps with an IPAD or your computer though. That would work.....Then use your faders as faders .... assign that dante input channel to the channel on your console. Done.
