Please ensure that the next Generation of controller which will replace the CS18ai, will be compatible with the first generation RM32ai & RM16ai controllers. There should be a way of replacing the AVB/FireWire card on the first Generation stage boxes (Or on the new generation of CS controller) to allow to still function as "Stage Boxes". Many users would hate to give up their existing RM mixers and spent a bunch of $$$ buying new gear when their old gear is only a few year old and still in good working order.

It may be that some of the newer, and fancy features of the newer CS controllers may not work with an older style RM stagebox, but I'm sure that Presouns would gain a lot good will if they were able provide an option for using our older equipment.

I love what the RM32ai mixer has been able to do for my live shows. It's a GREAT piece of gear, very compact, reliable and packed with a lot of nice features. I've considered buying a CS18ai controller, but I think it's too limited. After seeing what the III Generation Studio Live mixers have to offer, I'm holding out for a new CS controller and hoping it will also be a game changer. But if I can't use my older RM32ai & RM16ai stageboxes it will be a great disappointment.
