FEATURE REQUEST

I have a CS18ai and it works wonderfully with S1V4. But I have client bring me projects in Logic, PT and Cubase all of the time. I need to be able to mix these using the CS18ai.  Would a basic faders/transport/assignable knobs MCU protocol be too much to ask for. Not to compete with Faderports because they are not exactly the same thing especially in Studio One but fader and transport control along with basic knob learning functionality would be awesome and probably something that would make us purchasers feel better about sticking with Presonus gear in the future.

"This product has been discontinued."
What are you awaiting, still...?

wahlerstudios, delivery on a promise, in this case something that could be considered false advertising if not completed.

Purchasers who bought this gear new paid a lot of money for a specific feature set. Just out of curiosity, do you work for Presonus? I only ask this to determine if your own information is direct/official, or conjecture.

I am in no way connected with PreSonus, what I write is nothing but my own opinion. I have no access to insider information and I am no member of Facebook, my resources are public and/or accessible for all PreSonus users. After two years of not writing for "Answers" I decided to start sharing my experience and knowledge here again and add some colors that I feel have been missing for some time.

It has been said several times during the last year that PreSonus is working on another firmware update. I just remember how the last Beta Test was handled. In that time I was a user of CS18AI | RM32AI | RM16AI | MOTU AVB Switch and the Beta Test made me see clearly that these products have no future. The Series III has claimed all resources and still does, so why should the RM mixers and the CS controller become alternatives again?

There will be updates to keep the stuff running for some years, but I don't see anything NEW coming. To keep CS/RM clients, this should have happened already two years ago. Now there are not many CS18AI users left, the need is fading away...
