How do you set up a monitor mix like in a live setting for recording? I am using a 24.4.2 and a beefy mac pro. I thought setting up an aux mix would be simple but have learned otherwise. I tried using a presonus headphone amp and with the main in being aux 1 and 2 and then using a trs to dual mono 1/4" adapter to send a dir signal to the ext source on the amp this worked for the monitor but didn't allow recording as the signal was not returned to the channel... There has to be a better way to do this... As of right now I have about a second of latency on the mic when recording...

Sorry, I don't really get what you are trying to do and you're not letting us know which software you are using for recording (Capture, Studio One), but maybe this document from the Knowledge Base answers your question: http://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/210047253-Studio-One-monitor-mixes-with-a-StudioLive-classic-or-AI-mixer. cool

With Capture there is no way to route the signal to any kind of monitoring. You hear the recorded tracks when you play them back to the mixer... The aux mixes and the main mix can be used as normal, there is no latency of signals because the computer is only streaming audio and not processing audio.
