I've had Studio One Professional for as long as I've had my 2011 MacBook Pro.  Unfortunately, the video portion of the logic board keeps failing,so I'm switching to a PC.  I've read similar questions about Studio One 3 transfers, but still have these questions: 1) Do I reload 2.0 on the PC with my product key then download the 2.6.5 version from your website?  2) What compatibility issues should I expect?  3) If I buy the Studio One 3 upgrade, should I do that after loading 2.6.5 on the PC? 4) Finally, my Mac has an i7 processor and 4 Gigs of RAM.  I upgraded to 8 Gigs and noticed a sizable jump in the through-put capability.  If I purchase a PC with an i5 core processor (not i7) but retain 8 Gigs of RAM, will this be adequate or a giant step backwards in terms of through-put and latency settings?  Thanks in advance.

You are not going to have any significant issues by shifting over to a PC from a Mac. We would suggest that if you use any third party plugins, that you make sure that they are compatible with your newPC/OS.

You may need to do some optimizing to your PC, just to make sure that your PC operates and is geared more towards audio recording and or production.
