How to set fx delay in precise milliseconds?

I have a need to set a precise ms delay at the request of an international artist coming to play a concert in a few weeks, and they have requested a specific delay time that will sync with their backing tracks...

480ms

I can turn the knob on the console and get it within a couple milliseconds, but not exactly where needed...when I attempt to set the delay via the UC app on my macbook pro(connected via secured wifi of external router connected) I get only more course controls that seems to only get me within 5-10 milliseconds.

This seems trivial, but I want to make sure I give the talent exactly what they want since they are coming in from out of country to tour here and we start the tour and I want to make sure its a great experience for them!

I can obtain an outboard delay unit that I know can be set to exactly 480ms's, but I feel like the D>A and A>D conversion would add latency to the delay anyways, making the attempt moot.

ANY way to set a precise millisecond delay on the 16.4.2 AI series console mixers?

I can't check this at an AI console any longer, but I think it should work equivalent to the RM mixers. If you select FX in UC Surface 2, the four FX appear on top of the screen. FX C by default is a stereo delay, FX D a mono delay. All four types of delays have different settings, of course. What you are looking for is the first "knob" labeled "Time (ms)". When selecting the text (hold a second), a window appears with the time set. You can type in any applicable number.

Hope this helps.
