My Firestudio won't sync to my new computer. I successfully downloaded a new version of Universal Control. I re-started several times and still no blue light. I'm connecting via a firewire400 to 800 cable to an external HD. The HD is connected to my computer via a 1394 style usb connector. Please let me know if you have any solutions. Thank you!!!

This article will illustrate some things for USB C.

You basically need to use an Apple USB C to Thunderbolt adapter "AND" also an Apple Thunderbolt to firewire adapter.

Connect your FireStudio directly, not in chain, to test.

If you still have trouble, contact PreSonus Support for further assistance.
