Question

I am using the CS18Ai with a brand new iMac and the latest version of Studio One.  All the firmware is current.  Is there any way to access the two preamps or the outputs on the back of the CS18Ai without the RM mixer?  Can you use it as an interface/controller to Studio One or is it just a controller?  Right now all it does is control Studio One.

If the answer is no, is there any forceable plan for the future to be able to access the 2 pres and monitor outs in DAW mode?  It would be amazing if so.........

Unfortunately no.

The CS18 was designed to be an AVB enabled control surface with the RM series mixers. The AI series mixers do not have full AVB spec implementation, so audio transport to a computer is not available.

DAW Mode is only available for Studio One control protocol (Standard DAW Controller function).
