Is there a fan?

Just brought home a StudioLive 16.4.2 AI in thinking about buying a series III board and was very surprised to hear a fan. Is there a fan on the series 3 boards? Is it the same volume as the AI boards? I record in the control room and it could represent a problem.

No. There is no fan in the Series III.

There are heat vents at the top of the mixer.
