I'd like to know how exactly you would "change the pitch without changing the speed of the sample" using the Presence XT Editor, as you have suggested to user frankodee.

It does not appear to be possible to edit the pitch without changing the tempo in Presence XT Editor.  As a workaround, you can import the audio file into Studio One, right-click the audio in the track, and change the transposition. You can then export the file as a mixdown and import it back into Sample One or Presence XT.
