I've created a loop by merging multiple events. When selecting the new merged event the icons don't appear to fade etc. Even when left clicking and selecting the option.

The icons DO appear in edit mode but only for each individual event which I merged. It seems like a simple request but I can't get it working....

I use a Windows laptop.

Thanks

Yes and no, I'll explain.

You cannot just grab a fade handle on an Audio Part to fade clips inside of it.   You would instead double click the Audio Part and perform those edits in the editor.    However, the actions "Fade in To Cursor" and "Fade Out From Cursor" (they are unbound by default so if you want to use them go to the Keyboard Shortcuts editor and bind them to keys) will work on audio parts for that.

You have to bounce the merged event first. Right Click on the merged event, then click 'Event' and then click 'Bounce Tracks'.
