Hi,

I have a StudioLive 16.4.2ai, and am wondering if the Global Aux Mute feature mutes channel sends to the FX Buses?

The user manual says that enabling Global Aux Mute will mute a channel in the Subgroups, Mains, Aux and FX Buses  (see page 38). However, when I was testing the channel sends to the FX Buses with Global Aux Mute turned ON, and I muted a channel which also had a send to the FX, I was still able to hear that channels signal after the FX processing in the Main outputs.

Can anyone please confirm if the Global Aux Mite feature is meant to mute channel sends to the FX Buses? If it is, then I think this is a bug in the mixer's firmware.

Thanks!

The Global page also allows you to control where your channels are silenced when their mute buttons are engaged. By default, channels are set to mute globally. Setting Global Aux Mute to “No” will allow you to mute your channels only in the Subgroup and Main buses. Aux and FX buses will follow the send position setting (i.e. Post fader sends will mute in the bus, Pre1/Pre2 sends will not).
