Question

I have been doing more mixing with the Fat Channel and there are a few additions that I would love to see.

1. Modify rage values of the attack and release times in the compressor. Minimum value of release could be increase it a little to easy to create very unmusical distortion. Not sure when I would ever need a release time that short when there is a limiter. I feel having a much longer maximum attack and release time would be very useful. Perhaps have a button that you could enable that would simply relax the timings for smoother rides. Or perhaps change the behavior of the "Auto" mode to have attack and release times that are content dependent. I am know there are other compressors now in there but having these features would be great.

2. An option for auto gain makeup in the compressors. This is just handy sometimes for working very quickly.

3. Using the large space in the compressor and gate curve windows better. Having a waveform here or even a basic representation of the audio coming in before and would be handy.
