What is the exact fader resolution of the Faderport 8 when used in HUI mode (Pro Tools)

I'd like to know if the resolution of the Faderport 8's faders in HUI mode is 1024 or less. The original Faderport used to have 1024 steps in PT so how about this bigger version?
