I am struggling to identify and apply FX, e.g. How do I apply fret noise to the Telecaster Full preset?

Many of the new Presence XT presets like the "Full" presets, employ a key switching mechanism to allow multiple articulations of an instrument to be played without loading multiple patches. If you look at the on screen key bed when you load your instrument, you may notice the extreme lower keys have "red" markings on them. These are the key switch keys. Each key switch is assigned a different articulation like legato, mute, picked, FX, etc. So to change the articulation that is active in the instrument you simply hit the appropriate key switch and now any notes you play will be played using the selected articulation.

Below you will see the indicators for the Key Switch Zone on the key bed as well as where you can open the listing of available key switches for a Presence XT patch.

By clicking open for the Key Switch List, you will reveal a listing of the available key switches as well as the Midi Note name that corresponds to that switch.
