Question

Hi, I am in the middle of putting together a work.

I can hear everything I have done fine.

However when I add a track there is midi going through, because the bar on the left goes up but I can hear not sound at all.

I created a new song but the same thing happens no sound at all.

I did notice when I opened a very old piece that it would play the very last track, which happened to be the kit and when I selected another track it still played the kit.

Your help would be great.

You will want to make sure that you have the monitor button enabled on the track.  It is the icon of the speaker directly next to the arm track button.  To set this by default, please go into Studio One>Options (Preferences on a Mac)>Advanced>Console and check the box for "Instrument track monitoring follows record."
