Question

It's a vsti, but it does not show when I put it in the vsti folder. I can only use it standalone. The thing is the authors say that Studio One is not "backwardly compatible", but they don't say in relation to what.

It's frustrating because the emulation of an ARP 2600 is very good and I have made a sound in the standalone version that I have been chasing for a long time - but I can't use it. Works with Cubase etc.though...

T-C-M is a 32-bit plugin, Studio One 32-bit should have no problems loading it. On the other hand, unlike other DAWs like FL Studio or REAPER, Studio One 64-bit is not able to load 32-bit plugins natively. There is a solution called "jBridge" for DAWs with this type of incompatibility but its operation is never assured until put to the test for each situation. Also note that in terms of audio quality there is no difference between using Studio One 32-bit or 64-bit therefore think very carefully which version to install so you can continue using your favorite plugins (there are thousands of cool 32-bit only plugins, including many true "classics").
