Question

pc is an i3 with windows 8.1, connected with cat5,  macbook w/ yosemite connected with firewire, and iPad v9.1, connect on wifi. Just updated all apps and firmware to newest that are available. I use the PC with 23 inch touch screen as FOH, the macbook at stage for playback/recording/smaartlive, and the iPad as remote monitor mixing on stage. The input metering just disappeared after updates. Is this a firmware problem or a PC application problem?

You need to make sure all computers are on the same version of UC Surface, and that version of UC Surface needs to match the firmware on the mixer. All current version per platform are available gin your my.presonus account. Firmware version number for the mixer can be seen in the settings page of uc surface. UC Surface version number can be seen on the startup screen on UC Surface in the file menu.
