When I follow the workflow described in the video  for mirroring 1:1 functionality between the Arrange and Console with multi-out VIs all I get is a simple volume automation lane for the various VSTvi outputs.  No ability to solo, mute or add plugins etc.

I also have no ability to rename the virtual 'tracks' or make them correspond to the Console page.

Also, in the video there is an orange icon on the left under the IO button that I'm not seeing in my session, nor can I figure out what this is or how to turn it on.  Not sure if this is somehow related to my issue.

Thanks for any assistance or guidance.

Hello.

1. Yes, as the narrator in the video states you will get a simple volume automation lane. However, this video is dated and the work flow  in Studio One has changed since 3.3.0. The mutes and solos are no longer in the automation lane. Edit mute and solo in the console window.

2. These automation lanes are not tracks, they dont have plug-in slots. The effects have to be added in the console window on the channel, not in the arrangers automation lane.
