Question

I recently got a new computer, an acer running a Windows 10 OS 64 bit. I installed the Universal Control and Studio One 3 on the computer, maintained that the box has been plugged into the same port, and all went smoothly.

My problem is that though I can hear myself perfectly through my mic in Studio One, no other apps or websites on my computer will pick the mic up. I can hear sounds across all channels nicely, but the mic refuses to work with Skype, Discord, Vocaroo, Soundcloud, etc.

Is there a way to fix this? I've set the Audiobox as my default in my sounds settings and done everything I know of to try to fix this.

Make sure you update to all current Windows Updates and installed the current device drivers.

You may still need to check the Sampling Rate settings between Windows and Universal Control.

Right click the speaker icon in the taskbar and click Playback Devices.  Click Properties for the AudioBox and then the Advanced tab.  Set the Device Format to the same Sampling Rate set in Universal Control.
