Question

When dragging an effect to the track within Studio One Prime, some get inserted and most don't.

I looked at the comparison of Prime versus V3 and did not see that this is a difference.

Furthermore, we own Studio One V1 and I copied the presets from that version info Prime's User Presets and it still doesn't work - though we bought and paid for those.

Any ideas?  TIA, EJ

HI,

Studio one prime is the base version of Studio one, and not all features, plugins, or sounds can be accessed within this version... for a complete experience, studio one PROFESSIONAL is necessary... you will note that Prime does NOT offer the ability to open MP3 files, although you can purchase an add-on package (for under $10(US)...

Professional is a DEEP and incredible program without the bloat of most of the mainstream programs...ease of use, incredible value and resources galore are the hallmarks, without the HUGE learning curve!

What plugs are you referring to? The Prime version does not have support for 3rd party effects, and there are some native effects in other versions of S1 that are not included in prime as well.

 

If you can list some of the effects that are not working, we can get more information as to why it is happening.

I was told that V1 will not work on Windows 7, so I didn't bother installing it.

If you drag the effects on the left it works, the ones on the right don't have any effect on the track.

And all the vocals except dreamy all sound the same - which is also pretty weird.
