I can't seem to over dub vocals, only replace.

I have just started to use Studio One 3 Prime. I'm trying to Overdub vocals but the vocals are always replaced. I do not have "REPLACE" selected so I assume I should be able to hear my first take and to sing with/over it as an over dub? Is that a limitation of Prime? No over dubbing? Thanks.
