Sceptre S8 NOT Working OK (typical HF Hiss missing, so it may be sth with the HF Driver; reseting the DSP didn´t fix it)

Hi there,

any experience with this problem anyone? Basically it caught my attention that my right speaker wasn`t as noisy as always before start mixing, so I supposed its gain in the back was down or at least lower than the left one.

Then I realized it actually sounded really bad, like with no power, highs nor clarity at all. Already reseted the DSP as I thought it could be a software problem but the same..

Any advice, experience or anything really appreciated.

Pablo.

Hi there, yep, I could have it fixed. Just took it to the official technical support and the technician had to re-solder some components in the amp if I got him right.

Hello,

One of the S8s I received is exhibiting the same issue - sounds like the tweeter is not engaged. No hi frequency information is being output by the monitor. I have already tried all of the reset modes via the dip switches, and swapped cables.

Have you found a resolution to this issue?

Thanks,
