Hello,

I've just started to use studio one and i've plug in a midi piano. This work well if i use an output instrument but i can't get the default instrument sound (the one who pass through midi). I know that there is a sound transmited by my piano sound manual.

I'm using the last studio one prime version on windows and the computer's sound card to record.

Hi,

If I understand your question correctly, then the answer is that audio is not passed through MIDI. MIDI is for Digital data. In order to get the sound from your piano itself into Studio One or any DAW you have to connect your piano to your computer via audio cables and record it as audio.
