Question

Hi,

I just purchased S1, running latest version 3.5. I'm transferring from Logic Pro X, which has been working perfectly fine. But all recorded audio tracks in S1 get a horrible distortion. All of them. At least the ones that are either guitar or voice.

I'm running my audio through a Zoom R16 Interface - which works perfectly fine for Logic. But for S1 everything gets distorted.

My setup is this:

Macbook Pro 13" Late 2013 - with 8 GB of RAM

Zoom R16 recorder/interface connected via USB - to a USB 3.0 port in my Macbook Pro.

Please help. Right now, S1 is useless for me - and I've spent a couple of days researching without luck. I'm no expert, so it may be a simple fix - but please help asap. Thanks

Hi, I am also getting high amounts of Static while recording. I'm playing through Helix. Then when I play back, it sounds all distorted too. I am waiting for feed back from Your Post as well. Good Luck.

Have you done any troubleshooting?  Have you tried lowering preamp?  Are events clipping?  May need to try recording at lower volume.  Is it "stuttering", you might need to adjust drop-out protection during playback.
