Why doesn't my Studio One 3 track list my MIDI as an input device?

I've added my MIDI controller (Akai Professional LPK25) as an external device.  When I press its keys, Studio One seems to pick up input based on the bottom-left (where it says "MIDI" and "Performance").  LPK25 shows up on the first drop-down of my track but not the second; this is different from the tutorial I'm watching (go to 4:53 to see his track).  Finally, when I drag a keyboard from "Presence" onto the console, LPK25 on my track drop-down gets replaced with Presence and my MIDI doesn't control the keyboard that appears.

Does anyone know what my problem(s) might be?  I really want to get started recording stuff!  smiley

After you drag Presence in, please use the Track Inspector to set the MIDI input to your keyboard.

If the issue remains, please create a ticket to technical support.
