MIDI information is not played back with accurate timing or velocity using third party VSTs

Studio One seems to have a bug playing back accurate midi notation and velocities.  In the past it has quantized parts of songs that I did not want to be quantized and made sure to not have it on auto quantize, but now it seems like it gets caught on certain notes and then has a problem keeping up after it played those notes.  It doesn't try to "catch up" and speed up like I would expect it to, it doesn't seem to be plugin latency as it's happening on only certain plugins, but they are all by different vendors and it's never the same ones and never in the same place.  Has anyone else had this problem and if so HOW DO I FIX IT

Yes, I've experienced it too.

Definitely not as stable and solid as Cakewalk/Sonar... some on this forum recommend using a different DAW for MIDI heavy projects, but I'm hoping the next release fixes it.

My issue is with Toontrack's Superior Drummer.  Even the audio previously recorded (and solid) seems to "float" timing- wise after SD3 was added to the project.

...and to get the notes to sound in time, it's like they need to be pushed ahead of the beat, to compensate for the VSTi latency...so forget quantizing...

Yes - this one needs to be addressed, for certain.
